I like to think of myself as a professional. Over the past years, I've been on the iPhone upgrade programme and defaulted to the iPhone Pro (flip-flopped between Max and normal depending on camera systems). Last year, the 14 didn't have much more than my iPhone 13 pro — so I didn't upgrade. I had an iPhone for two years for the first time I can remember.
Each tech-tember, cancer awareness month, or September to those that aren't in the know, a little podcasting network called Relay.fm try to raise as much money as they can for children with cancer. In the past years, I've given small amounts, just to offset my tech buying guilt.
My Dad, David Stollery, passed away on the 6th of May. He wrote his own order of service and recorded his eulogy. But he didn’t make a website. I did that while being with my Mum for the first week after he passed.
I've realised, and knew really, that I'm not a blogger. I don't have things I need to post on the web. I don't need to share my thoughts. In fact, I'm reverting to my original Twitter behaviour. I consume rather than produce.
Forget about Twitter. They're not making any profits and therefore reducing headcount might enable them to get some, maybe. I don't care obviously, as I'm full mastodon now. What I'm talking about is Microsoft, Google, Apple, or any company that is actually making more profit than a single sensible person could spend in their life times.
Thanks to @maique@social.lol you might now be able to post to your weblog. From Drafts. That's right, markdown in Drafts and hit post.
Just add his nifty action.
I need to capture what I'm going to try and build for the playdate. Of all the season 1 games Battle Ship Godios tickled my brain. So much so that I went ahead and bought Gradius for the Switch.
Ratcheteer is the game this week. I was struggling and had put it down. The thing I missed was turning the crank with a spanner activates some machines in the world. I unlocked the power station and then got stuck again.
I’m a newbie on Mastodon. Part of the great migration. On space Karen’s plaything I was mainly a consumer. I just consumed and didn’t post much.
